Hello! I'm Babsie
A graphic designer by trade who evolved into a photographer.
My passion as a photographer and artist is to create meaningful images that will be cherished forever. I strive to capture connections and stories through life's fleeting moments. My artistic approach is a combination of dreamy, romantic and light-filled imagery whether its light + airy or dark + moody. I appreciate clean aesthetics and vibrant colors.
Ever since I was little, I have always thrived off of creativity and my imagination. Taking photos was a tradition in my household. My very first camera was a Minolta, a gift from my mother, and I snapped photos everywhere on a daily basis. My love for photography continued when I was finally old enough to work in a photo lab and learned the beauty of developing film. Furthering my passion to create, I graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in graphic design + photography. I have studied and practiced other mediums of art that seamlessly blend into my photography/graphic design work. My background includes, visual merchandising/styling, make-up, and videography.
Entering the "real world" after college, I pursued brand design for an amazing wedding jewelry company that turned into a complete game changer for me. The experiences from this chapter in my life continues to influence the work I do today. Fast forward to the present, I'm based in sunny San Diego, California with my sweetheart, Michael. He's "the Corey to my Topanga" and I couldn't imagine working and experiencing life with anyone else. He's a wonderful second shooter and compliments my work harmoniously. We specialize in weddings + engagements and will travel to any destination where love calls. Forming a connection with our couples is key to creating the best photographs. We strive to provide a comfortable and fun-filled experience for every client we serve.
When we're not behind the lens, we like to explore and travel, spend time renovating our home, trying hidden gems and watching movies. Other things we like to do are: go on hike trails, geek out on anime and k-dramas, go cruising down the neighborhood streets with our electric scooters and find time for each other with mini dates. :)
