Proposals, proposals, proposals! Oh how I love proposals!

It’s been an amazing year so far and its only the first quarter of the year! We’ve had the honor of capturing all sorts of proposal throughout San Diego and this one was one for the books!

Peter and Bryana flew down for Peter’s “business work trip” from Minnesota. What Bryana didn’t know was this was a secret trip dedicated just for her! Peter had contacted me several weeks in advance to begin planning this special proposal and without hesitation..I was in it full force with planning the perfect moment for Peter’s sweetheart. San Diego is known for it’s glorious year round warm weather but of course there was a storm happening on the day of the proposal. I’m talking heavy wind and rain with floods. Seriously!? Ah!

As we waited to see if the weather was going to lighten up, we decided to take a chance in the crazy weather and cross our fingers for the best! It was raining hard throughout the entire ride to the park but something crazy happened when we arrived. It stopped raining. It literally stopped raining! The Sun slowly started peaking out and we were early to the site to get ready. Talk about lucky day! I’m not making this up either! I couldn’t have been more excited for Bryana and Peter with the weather cooperating! Now now..if it did happen to continue raining, we were still prepared to shoot in our waterproof camera covers. Rain or shine, the epic moment must still go on!

Shortly after we arrived, we got the message they had arrived. It was show time! Just as discussed, Peter did exactly what we planned and moments after… popped the big question! SHE SAID YES! Bry’s reaction was priceless and adorable! We loved capturing their perfect day and we wish them all the best on their journey to becoming husband and wife! Cheers to the engaged couple!

If I could describe this proposal event, it would be: Magical, Romantic, Dreamy, Perfect!
